Description of the Research Group

The Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne  (EPFL), one of the world’s leading universities, provides a highly international platform for research across all the core science and technology disciplines. EPFL has around 11,000 students and postgraduates from over 110 different nationalities, and has a strong background in international research projects, leading directly to high potential for innovation with more than 200 start-ups created in the last 15 years.

The Laboratory for Magnetic Resonance is an internationally leading research group in magnetic resonance led by Professor Lyndon Emsley with expertise highly relevant to the project. The group has pioneered solid-state NMR methods for powder crystallography, surface-enhanced NMR, or for determining molecular dynamics.
