The workshop was held from the 31th of August to the 2nd of September at the Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (Switzerland) gathering 15 PhD students, post-docs and industrial scientists. The workshop was focussed on both theoretical and practical aspects of solid-state NMR. It provided excellent opportunity for early-stage researchers to discuss with international experts.
The workshop included a state-of-the-art overview of the recent field of NMR crystallography, as well as hands-on tutorials for the computation of NMR parameters in solid samples. The course aimed at targeting both scientists who wish to incorporate computational methods in their analysis and theoretical chemists who want to integrate NMR into their research.
