On November 13th and 19th, the University of Aveiro (UAVR) hosted two events that brought together representatives from leading industrial organizations and researchers. The aim was to explore the potential applications of NMR technology in advancing industry-specific innovations.

The November 13th event welcomed representatives from CITEVE, a prominent player in innovation and development within the Textile and Clothing Industry, and SECIL, a Portuguese business group specializing in cement, concrete, and related materials. Discussions focused on the opportunities that solid-state NMR could offer to enhance material analysis and quality control in their respective sectors.

On November 19th, UAVR collaborated with two members of NET4CO2, a colab dedicated to developing cutting-edge solutions for CO2 capture, utilization, and storage. These efforts align with global sustainability goals, focusing on deploying innovative technologies that address climate change.

Both events included presentations,cdiscussions about the industrial benefits of NMR, and guided tours of the NMR Center in Aveiro.
