Successful Conclusion of the PANACEA Spring Hands-On Workshop

The PANACEA Spring Hands-On Workshop concluded successfully on Friday 23rd of May, marking the end of a dynamic and enriching week dedicated to advanced training in paramagnetic Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (pNMR), Dynamic Nuclear Polarization (DNP), and related spectroscopic techniques.

Held from May 19–23, the workshop brought together 30 participants7 expert speakers, and 9 supervisors from across Europe and beyond. This intensive program offered a balanced mix of theoretical lectures, experimental sessions, and collaborative discussions.

The workshop opened on Monday, May 19, with foundational lectures covering pNMR and DNP theory, NMR circuit design, probe construction, and programming. The day concluded with interactive roundtable sessions, offering participants a platform to present and discuss their own research.

Tuesday featured advanced topics including the calculation of pNMR parameters and Electron Paramagnetic Resonance (EPR) spectroscopy, followed by hands-on experimental activities. The remaining days, Wednesday through Friday, were dedicated to practical training and further lectures, with a particular focus on the EasyNMR platform, designed to simplify data analysis and interpretation in NMR studies.

The workshop provided a unique opportunity for young researchers and seasoned scientists to exchange knowledge, refine their technical skills, and foster cross-border collaborations. The PANACEA initiative continues to build a strong, interconnected research community dedicated to advancing NMR technologies and applications.

The organizing committee extends its sincere thanks to all participants, speakers, and supervisors for their contributions to a highly successful and inspiring workshop.
